Happy Wednesday, friends! 🙂 I hope you are having a great week, it is finally warming up here in good ole MN, and I am LIVING! I’m pretty sure I was just starting to feel the seasonal depression too, so God and Mother Nature have some good timing! 😉 I am currently at Starbucks with my sweet friend Rach catching up and trying to stay productive! 😉 Speaking of being productive, do you ever invest in online education and then never get around to actually reading it, watching it, or learning from it no matter what the platform is? SAME. I have been there, and I think most of us have! We become so intrigued by the idea of online education and the specific product being sold that once we buy it we become comfortable with the fact that we will always have it and can always come back to it! If you have had this happen like I have then you know the guilt that comes with purchasing online education and never getting around to it! Well, that is all about to change! Today I am going to teach you how to get the most out of online education!
First things first, I think it is super important to make a PLAN! I truly believe that in many aspects of life if you fail to plan, you plan to fail! How did that quote make you feel? 😉 Remember in my last blog post how I talked about pulling yourself out of a rut and how block planning can help with that? This totally applies! You need to plan a time or day to sit down and utilize the online education you’ve purchased! You could plan a whole day around it, or just block off a good amount of time on a few separate days that are meant solely to sit down and learn!
Something else that helps is taking notes! If you take notes as you go through the education, you can always go back and skim to find out where you left off, or just utilize when you need it later! Taking notes really helps you engrain things into your brain and keeps you organized if you ever want to come back to it! I love just picking up cute notebooks from TJMAXX or Target’s dollar section and using them for education notes!
Lastly, I think it’s always helpful to have some sort of accountability buddy! Typically if you purchase online education you will get added to a Facebook group will other buyers and have a whole community to go through the education with! You can utilize those spaces to ask questions, make new friends, and continue to learn even after you’ve finished the education! 🙂
I hope this was all helpful, and you feel like actually getting through the online education you’ve purchased is a little more doable! 😉 Comment below what your favorite investments have been!
