Happy Monday, friends! Does anyone else feel like they can’t believe it’s already 2018?! I feel like 2017 was just getting started, but I DID get married in 2017 so my life really revolved around that! 😉 I don’t know about you, but I LOVE the new year and the fresh start feeling it gives! It gives me a few days to breathe and really refocus, set goals, and plan out what I want the next 365 days to look like. One of my goals for the year is to get back on the consistency train of blogging once a week, so I wanted to use today to talk about goal setting for 2018 to kick off the new year right!
I am a HUGE list maker, goal setter, and organizer! I just love it. I get so motivated and inspired just by sitting down and making a list or writing out my goals for the next week, month, or even year! If you are like me you understand! If not, I wanted to share some tips for you to set goals, and actually accomplish them!
WRITE IT DOWN
1. The first step you need to take is just simply writing it down. Take a notebook, notepad, or piece of paper and just brain dump all your ideas, goals, and even things that seem soooo out of reach!
2. Now take that brain dump and organize it! Break them up into lists! You could do small and big goals, an order you want to accomplish them, or even break them up into months! Whatever work best for you, do that.
BREAK THEM DOWN
3. Now that you have your goals, and they are organized into groups, break them down! I want you to make a list for EACH goal! Write the goal on the top of a piece of paper, then underneath it, I want you to write down every. single. step (in order) you can think of that you would need to take to conquer that goal!
MAKE THEM HAPPEN
4. Now that your goals are written down, listed, and broken down, you have no excuses not to do them! 😉 Yep, I trapped you! Now you HAVE to do all those things you’ve always wanted to..just haven’t.
I hope this blog is helpful for you guys! I want you to comment at least ONE goal down below so you are putting it into the universe! This way I can keep you accountable, and we can cheer each other on this year!
